ANIMATION SUMMER CAMP 2024
At the Sirron Norris Animation Summer Camp, we dedicate 35 hours a week to learning and creating animations. Through the process of Sirron’s teaching and work with cartoons; each student will create their own short movie by the end of the week, Additionally, we explore local art at nearby murals, go on scavenger hunts, and play drawing games. This year will be our 15th consecutive year of the Animation Summer Camp.
Information: This camp is for students ages 7 -12, located at the Sirron Norris Studio (2860 24th Street). Camp final payment is $550, including the non- refundable deposit of $150.
Lunch is not provided, although morning snack, juice, and water will. A microwave will be available if needed.
All camp sessions begin at 9AM with drop-off as early 8:30AM, and will end at 3PM (aftercare is available if needed (5:30pm).

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Our curriculum was designed for students in the third grade and above (8-14). Below is the list of classes that will be offered, a brief description of what will be covered, and what is to be expected during our time spent together.
The Art of Cartooning Class
(Price: $275 per session - Ages: 7yrs-12yrs)
This class will explore the art of cartooning through multiple forms. Using mediums such as paint, sculpture, and animation to both teach a foundation of cartooning and widen the perspective of returning artists. The Art of Cartooning class will take place on Tuesdays starting the beginning of October ‘23 and end in May ‘24.

The Community Cartooning Class
(Price: Free - Ages: 5yrs - 65yrs)
This class will be a space for people of all ages to take part in the learning and enjoyment of cartooning. The classes will start at the beginning of October ‘23 and end in April ‘24.
